Kent Hummel created Hummel & Company over 20 years ago based on a real need for local businesses to find solutions to their problems. Many clients came to me indicating that their employees were telling them that something could not be done. Whatever it happened to be, I ended up making a niche by solving problems or dealing with challenges that others said could not be done.
Initially, this included software training, support, and pre-press troubleshooting for any service bureau or agency in the Chicago metro area. This service grew to include database development, and more advanced systems and business consulting. We moved to Wisconsin where I was able to turn around a local newspaper as Regional Marketing Director.
Fast Forward
Twenty years later, many promotions later, still heavily involved in technology but with a wealth of additional media experience with local, regional, and national firms, we stand ready to solve your business challenges.

The need is still there. Businesses are still looking for help often times searching for solid answers to their burning questions. Customers are more demanding, traditional media does not work as well and it is very expensive. In short, the old way of doing business makes it too hard to connect with today’s consumer.
