What you can learn from Apple's Laptop launch

Apple’s new laptop could (according to some analysts) increase their share of the laptop market by 50%. I was thinking about what you could learn from Apple’s marketing prowess. Here are some things to consider:
  • Apple has one of the strongest brands in the world
  • Apple has consistently tried to meet or exceed customer expectations, and in many ways, has led us by the hand to new places.

  • Apple has, for many years, with every product line refresh, kept prices stable yet increased value (whether it was speed, features, larger hard drives, etc)
  • Apple has maintained a strong foothold in their future (Education market). Those kids in school will enter the workplace and demand easier to use tools. Computers are tools.
So, while there is alot of buzz surrounding the media event today, and I have no idea what is really coming, it made me think about how few times businesses maintain their promise, exceed expectations, and always try to improve the customer experience with innovation.

Are you innovating enough and exceeding expectations?
